Salt Lake County Animal Control Ordinance
- There is a new Domestic Fowl Ordinance in effect as of April 28, 2010. Read the ordinance online (pdf, 670 kB) before it is added to the official database
- Residential domestic fowl licenses are $5.00 per chicken per year
- Permits are pre-printed carbon copy and not available online. Please come in during open hours to pick one up or call Licensing at 801-559-1100 ext 1122 for other arrangements.
