Sandy Licensing and Rabies Clinic Thursday, 08/12/10 - 6:00pm - 8:30pm
11400 S 1700 E
Bell Canyon Park

Sandy City is holding their last licensing and rabies clinic and has graciously allowed us to participate. If you live in the southern or eastern unincorporated areas of Salt Lake City, some of which lie inside Sandy boundaries, this is a great chance to get your pet licensed without coming down to our shelter.

If you live in the Sandy area, please use our jurisdiction checker to determine which agency will license your pet. Please note that unincorporated areas have different licensing fees so the pricing on this ad will be different from the cost of your license (first year is NOT free).

A veterinarian will be on-site to offer $10 microchips and vaccinations under contract with Sandy City.

Free Pet Acu-Massage Seminar - Presented by Utah FACESSaturday, 08/21/10 - 11:00am - Noon
511 W 3900 S
Salt Lake County Animal Services

Join Utah FACES on Saturday, August 21st from 11 am to noon for a free pet Acu-Massage seminar presented by Anita DeLelles, LMT, of Hearts of Fire (www.heartsofire.com). Anita will be at Salt Lake County Animal Services to present a brief seminar on the fundamentals of Acu-Massage for pets (sorry no personal pets at the free seminar).

After the seminar, Anita will be offering private sessions at the shelter where you can bring your personal pet. A private session is $45, and $10 from every private session scheduled at the shelter will be donated to Utah FACES to support the efforts of Salt Lake County Animal Services.

A private session begins with an assessment of your animal’s health then focuses on several essential acupressure points specific to your animal’s well-being, and a complete body massage. Please contact Anita at (435)275-4536 to schedule a private appointment.
